For the first time in its history, the Networked Learning Consortium (NLC) is heading to Seoul, South Korea!

Hosted by Seoul National University (SNU), this exciting 2025 NLC Node Event builds on the success of the 2021 hNL21 workshop and continues the exploration of innovative methodologies in networked learning research.

This Asia-based gathering marks a significant milestone in NLC’s global outreach, bringing together researchers to critically and creatively engage with the evolving landscape of networked learning in the post-era.

Theme: Networked Learning Research in the Post-Era

This workshop series invites educational researchers to explore how emerging philosophies, technologies, and methodologies are reshaping networked learning.

Key conceptual perspectives include:

  • Postphenomenology
  • Postdigital Science
  • Posthuman Theory

These workshops aim to spark new research directions and will contribute to the NLC2026 Conference in Brussels and the Springer Research in Networked Learning book series.
